MetallurgyZone Editorial Team

Role: Content Direction, Technical Writing, Review & Quality Assurance

The MetallurgyZone editorial team is a collective of metallurgical and materials engineers with backgrounds spanning structural steel, pressure equipment, welding engineering, corrosion engineering, heat treatment, and materials testing. Our team has worked across the oil and gas, power generation, aerospace, structural, and manufacturing sectors.

We established MetallurgyZone in 2024 with a single purpose: to create the most technically reliable and accessible free metallurgy resource on the internet — the reference we wished had existed when we were students and early-career engineers.

Our sister site, WeldFabWorld.com, focuses specifically on welding and fabrication engineering and is run by the same team.
